Colourised Wayfarers

After the traditional black wayfarers becoming the undisputed fashion accessory of 2007, Ray-Ban have introduced new colourised wayfarers for this year whereby black is now being complimented by crayon colour wayfarers. These new wayfarers are extremely well-styled and great for any occasion.

There are two versions of the new Ray-Ban colourised sunglasses.

2140 (Wayfarer): A genuine reproduction of the original 1952 model. Made entirely of acetate it has stayed loyal to the original detail and distinctive shape. This seasons colours offer a strong impact - often with contrasting colours between the inside and outside or the front and arm. Available in attention grabbing colours such as red, pink and tortoise shell.

2143 (Wayfarer II): An historical evolution of the classic wayfarer, its evolution was launched in the 1980's in what is known as "Street Neat". The style remains unchanged but is made special by the double layer process. The colours are a fundamental part of the overall design with funky pink + blue combining or red + black. Many of these variations use historical G-15 lenses, created in the 1950's for military use and are excellent at blocking radiation and glare.

Elegance and class are stated with these Jackie O sunglasses. Jackie O was born in 1929 and became known as a living fashion catalogue, envied the world over. With these Ray-Ban sunnies her grace and imagination lives through.
