What glasses suit my face shape?

Oval

Oval

Well balanced, softly rounded. Forehead is slightly wider than the jaw and cheekbones are high.
Try: You’re so lucky, most frames will look good on you, so go on - be adventurous!

Round

Round

Wide forehead, fairly short face, often with full cheeks and rounded chin.

Try: Styles with high-set sides, frames with colour or decoration on the temples.

Avoid: Small, round and large frames that make the face look rounder; colour or decoration on the lower rim.

Heart

Heart

A broad forehead curving down to a small chin and mouth.

Try: Smaller frames without decoration on the temples; rounded, slender or square styles with lower sides.

Avoid: Styles that are wide at the top of the frames.

Square

Square

A broad forehead, a wide jaw line and square chin.

Try: Round and oval frames to soften the jawline.

Avoid: Thin angular and square frames as these will exaggerate square features.

Triangular

Triangular

A narrow forehead that broadens towards the jawline.

Try: Bold strong and wide shapes.

Avoid: Small narrow frames.

Handy hints

• Your eyes should sit in the centre of each lens
• Your eyebrow shouldn’t be visible above the frame
• Pale skin tones suit cool colours such as silver, white or black while warmer skin stones suit vibrant colours such as orange, pink and gold.
