This expression, exclusively for the travel retail, focuses on this landscape of the distillery, celebrating the earthy and bramble fruit terroir of the area. It has been matured within fine Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks, from Andalucia in Spain, and port casks, from the Douro Valley in Portugal, as was imported and served in the houses of Scotland’s gentry at turn of the 19th century. Nestled in the Valley of Forgue, deep in the East Highland Hills, is The GlenDronach, one of the oldest licensed distilleries in Scotland. We have been dedicated to crafting the finest, richly-sherried Highland Single Malts for almost 200 years, marrying robust Highland spirit with the finest Spanish oak Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks.
